Also called: black cabbage, palm cabbage, kale
Taste: The fresh green of kale Black Mandingo has a fine and tart taste reminiscent of cabbage. However, its taste is a bit milder and sweeter than the full-grown kale.
Ingredients: Kale sprouts contain a lot of iron and calcium, combined with many vitamins, such as vitamins A, C and K. The protein content of 30 to 35 percent is also not to be despised. Of course, kale Black Mandingo, like all cabbage plants, contains many mustard oils.
Usage: raw: in salads, on bread, for juicing, smoothies, herb quark, with fruit or as a decoration of your dishes.
Positive properties: lowers your cholesterol levels, boosts your concentration, prevents cancer and strengthens your immune and cardiovascular system
Note: White microroots are formed, please do not confuse them with mould.
This seed can be used for growing microgreen as well as in sprouting jar and cress sieve.
