Also called: arugula, rocket
Taste: Like most cabbage plants, the fresh green of arugula has a aromatic and spicy taste. Since arugula green has a rather intense taste, a small amount is enough to give dishes or salads its nutty aroma.
Ingredients: It contains a lot of mustard oils, folic acid, is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C and D as well as the minerals potassium, calcium and phosphorus.
Usage: raw: in salads, on bread, smoothies, herb quark and fits particularly well with Mediterranean cuisine.
Positive properties: Stimulates digestion, diuretic, included folic acid is needed for the trouble-free function of red blood cells and immune cells. It is also said to prevent heart attacks, strokes and dementia.
Note: White microroots form, which please do not confuse with mould. If you suffer from thyroid problems, please use this microgreen only in very small doses, as it has a very high iodine content.
This seed can be used for growing microgreen as well as in a cress sieve.
